<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drying-treat well garbage produced each day by utilizing heat generated in air compressors and condensers of refrigerators always operated in food factories and enabling good agitation. <P>SOLUTION: In a drying treatment apparatus for garbage in food factories, a pair of rotation driving shafts 8a and 8b are arranged laterally in parallel in a treatment container 7 having an air supply portion 4, an exhaust portion 5 and a garbage charging portion 6 in the upper part, and stirring arms 9a and 9b are arranged in a protruded form on each of the rotation driving shafts, respectively, and the rotation driving shafts are linked so as to drive mutually opposite rotations.
