<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a guaranteed service life of a driving source for transporting developer ejected to a developer ejection path from a plurality of developer image forming sections becoming insufficient for a guaranteed service life for an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A developer recovering path 360 includes vertical paths 362, 364, 366, 368 to which developers from developing devices 100Y, 100M, 100C, 100K are ejected and a horizontal path 370 connected to them. Drive is transmitted to a transporting member 374 arranged in the horizontal path 370 from a trickle motor M2 and drive is transmitted to an intermediate transfer belt 62 from a belt motor M3. A control section 330 carries out a pre-stabilization mode making the trickle motor M2 continuously operate while synchronizing with a belt motor M3 for every printing up to a prescribed counter value and switches at a prescribed timing to a post-stabilization mode making the trickle motor M2 intermittently operate at the prescribed inverval after the prescribed counter value is exceeded and a continuous operation mode for making the trickle motor M2 continuously operate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
