PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinner thermoelectric module. SOLUTION: A flexible thermoelectric module comprises a pair of flexible substrates 12, 13, a plurality of electrically conductive contacts 20 provided on one side of each of the flexible substrates 12, 13, and a plurality of P-type and N-type thermoelectric elements, which are a plurality of P-type thermoelectric elements 14 and N-type thermoelectric elements 16 electrically connected between the opposing surfaces of the pair of the flexible substrates having the plurality of electrically conductive contacts, wherein the plurality of electrically conductive contacts connect the P-type element and the N-type element adjacent to each other in series and each of the P-type and N-type elements has a first end part connected to one of the plurality of the electrically conductive contacts of one of the substrates and a second end part connected to one of the plurality of the electrically conductive contacts of the other substrate.
