PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for completing a painting step in a short time period by heating a stabilizer by use of electrical heating while suppressing the variation of surface temperature of the stabilizer, in a method of manufacturing the stabilizer with bent portions for an automobile. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the stabilizer for automobile includes an electrical heating step (S10) electrically heating the stabilizer, and a painting step (S12) painting the surface of the electrically heated stabilizer. In the electrical heating step, the stabilizer is electrically heated in such a way that the increasing speed of the reference surface temperature of the stabilizer is in the range of 10-30°C/sec.
