The assembly has a support device (50) for supporting a component (100) i.e. transformer, of a wind turbine plant. A carrier device (5) is attached to the supporting device with which predetermined distance is made between the supported component and an upper limiting surface of a base plate i.e. oil sump, of the wind energy plant. The support device arranged with the component is mounted as a separate component on the carrier device that is positioned on the base plate. The carrier device comprises a frame for accommodating the component resting upon the base plate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a wind energy plant comprising a tower provided on a base plate (2) a method for constructing a wind energy plant.
