METHOD FOR PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION ON THE BASIS OF THE IRIS OF THE EYE (VARIANTS)

The inventions are directed to increasing the accuracy and speed of identification. The above-mentioned result is achieved in that the method for personal identification on the basis of the iris of the eye comprises recording a colour image of the iris of the eye and subsequently processing said image so as to generate an identification code, with elements of said code being determined in accordance with a calculated wavelength or combination of wavelengths of the reflected light radiation and the intensity thereof from each element of the iris of the eye, wherein the fact that a person has been identified is established on the basis of a set degree of correspondence between the identification code generated and one which was generated earlier and stored. The above-mentioned result is achieved in that the method for personal identification on the basis of the iris of the eye comprises recording an image of the iris of the eye in a plurality of spectral ranges and subsequently processing said image in said plurality of different spectral ranges and generating an identification code on the basis of the calculated wavelength or combination of wavelengths of the reflected light radiation and the intensity thereof from each element of the iris of the eye, wherein the fact that a person has been identified is established on the basis of a set degree of correspondence between the identification code generated and one which was generated earlier and stored.
