摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switching device, which may increase input-output ports of the number smaller than that of conventional devices even when the number of optical fibers among nodes and the number of wavelengths in an optical network are increased and is composed of an optical switch having an excellent scalability. <P>SOLUTION: An optical switching device 100 conducts outputs to L(F&times;Do) optical fiber lines by switching light signals input from N(F&times;Di) optical fiber lines. The optical switching device 100 includes: one optical fiber switch 30 as the optical switch at a pre-stage conducting a switching at the unit of the optical fiber lines; and Do pairs (40-1 to 40-M, ...41-1 to 41-M) of M(<N) optical branching fibers. The optical switching device 100 further includes: Do pairs (50-1 to 50-W, ...51-1 to 51-W) of W optical switches as the optical switches at a post-stage conducting the switching at the unit of wavelengths; and Do pairs (60-1 to 60-F, ...61-1 to 61-F) of F optical multiplexers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
