<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit a content even in the state where the number of usable wavelengths is limited, in a system for transmitting a content by a wavelength path of one-to-multiple connection. <P>SOLUTION: This system for transmitting a content includes: a plurality of transmission means each outputting an optical signal of a predetermined wavelength; a distribution means to output each content to a designated transmission means; and a management means to control the distribution means to input each content to a transmission means of a wavelength used for transmission. In the system for transmitting a content, the wavelengths of the optical signals outputted by the plurality of transmission means are different from one another, and the management means controls the distribution means so as to perform re-determination of wavelengths used for the already-transmitted contents and determination of a wavelength to be used for a newly transmitted content when a transmission request of a new content is received in the state where all the wavelengths usable for transmission of contents are used for transmission of contents, and to respectively input the respective contents to the transmission means of the determined wavelengths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
