<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, system and method for print control, along with a program and recording medium, capable of preventing unnecessary duplicate printing of a printed matter, allowing print data of a discarded printed matter to be printed again, and facilitating reusing a printed matter of which the owner has been changed. <P>SOLUTION: The print control device detects print instructions to print target data to be printed, to stop print processing of the target data based on the print instructions and causes a print control server to determine whether the print processing of the target data to be printed is permitted instructions, wherein the print control server has a print control information database with which a print history information table with which identification information of the target data for which print processing has been executed, identification information of a user who has executed the print processing, and reprinting permission/inhibition designating information which designates whether reprinting of the target data is permitted instructions are registered in association with each other is registered.
