<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a process unit 1Y is made flatter than before. <P>SOLUTION: As the process unit 1Y, a unit is used in which on each of two opposing side faces of a unit casing, a first positioning projection part 14Y and a second positioning projection 15Y for positioning the process unit 1Y at a position different from that of the first positioning projection are arranged by being shifted in the longitudinal direction of a slit 96Y. During the process of fixing the process unit 1Y to the image forming apparatus body, on the two side faces of the process unit 1Y, the second positioning projection 15Y is engaged with the slit 96Y with which the first positioning projection 14Y is engaged by being shifted in position in the slit longitudinal direction from the first positioning projection 14Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
