<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to maintain an interval between a photoreceptor and a developing roll of a developing device in a normal state by loading the photoreceptor to the apparatus body, even when introducing a constitution to freely removably load the photoreceptor to the apparatus body while the developing device is left in the apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an interval maintaining part disposed on each end of the photoreceptor or the developing roll; a V-shaped shaft support part disposed in the apparatus body, configured to freely removably support the shaft of each of the photoreceptors; a guide disposed in the apparatus body, configured to hold and guide the developing device so as to be moved in a direction to come close to or separate from the photoreceptor whose shaft is supported by the shaft support part; and a pressing member disposed in the apparatus body, configured to press the developing device in a direction to come close to the photoreceptor which is supported by the shaft support part. The photoreceptor and the developing device are arranged while the shaft of the photoreceptor is supported by the shaft support part so that the rotation center of the photoreceptor may lie above the rotation center of the developing roller in a gravity direction, and also, the photoreceptor may come in contact with the developing roll through the interval maintaining member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
