<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a ballast water treatment apparatus and to surely perform the water treatment of ballast water. <P>SOLUTION: A ballast water treatment system 1 includes the ballast water treatment apparatus 4, an inflow passage 5 of the ballast water treatment apparatus 4, an outflow passage 6 of the ballast water treatment apparatus 4, valves V1, V2 provided in the passages 5, 6 respectively, a circulation passage 7 connected to the downstream of the valve V1 in the passage 5 and to the upstream of the valve V2 in the passage 6, and pumps P1, P2 provided in the passages 5, 7 respectively, whereby ballast water W is poured to fill the ballast water treatment apparatus 4 before actuating the ballast water treatment apparatus 4 at starting to enable preventing the ballast water treatment apparatus 4 from being operated in a state without water. Before the ballast water W is filled, the ballast water W can be circulated by the circulation passage 7 while performing water treatment of the ballast water W, whereby sufficient water treatment of the ballast water W poured before the actuation of the ballast water treatment apparatus 4 can be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
