<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element without generating cracks and peeling of an optical function film under a high temperature condition. <P>SOLUTION: An optical function film 5 is formed on a surface including an optical face 3 of a body 2 molded of a resin and having the optical face 3. The optical function film 5 comprises: an intermediate layer 10 comprising a metal film or a metal compound film laminated to the optical face 3; and a resin film 11 composing the uppermost surface, and has prescribed optical characteristics by the resin film 11 and the intermediate layer 10.
