<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete focus adjustment in shortest time regardless of dispersion of focus change time of a variable focus lens by temperature and individual. <P>SOLUTION: A scanner 1 includes an aimer 213; a liquid lens 212; an imaging element 211; an imager controller 19, which calculates a voltage according to a focus position from a position of a video image of spot light in the imaged images to a subject, applies the calculated voltage to the liquid lens 212, and generates an image cutout, by cutting out an image including the video image of the spot light among the imaged images, when the focus adjustment of the liquid lens 212 is performed; and a CPU 11 which detects contrast in the video image of the spot light from the cutout image, and decodes a symbol image included in the imaged images, when the contrast more than a predetermined value is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
