<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in a consumption power compatible with elimination of step number. <P>SOLUTION: A decoding apparatus is equipped with a CABAC processing unit in performing an arithmetic decoding process to generate a coding condition, a first storage medium to store coded data after the arithmetic decoding process, a cache serving as a second storage medium to store cache data, a decoder to process the coded data after the arithmetic decoding process based on the cache data, and an installing unit to install the storage method of the cache data based on the coding condition before processing the encoded data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
