PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-stage rolling mill more effectively and precisely performing the crown control, and entirely rolling a material to be rolled into high accuracy shape. SOLUTION: The two-stage rolling mill 10 with work rollers 12, 13 arranged in upper and lower stages is provided with an upper bending apparatus 90 and a lower bending apparatus 91. The bending apparatuses 90, 91 each has backup rollers 100, 101 constituted by combining hydraulic pressing apparatuses 92, 93, small diameter support rollers 96, 97 having the barrel length being smaller than that of each work roller, and small diameter intermediate rollers 98, 99 provided between the small diameter support rollers 96, 97 and the work rollers 12, 13, and having substantially same barrel length as that of the work rollers 12, 13, and applying the bending force to the work rollers 12, 13 at their center parts.
