摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can detect occurrence of ball-jamming in the inner area of a variable prize-winning unit. SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine 10 includes: an opening/closing controller which executes switching control over an internal area of the variable prize-winning unit provided in a game play zone between an open state where game balls are allowed to enter and a closed state where the game balls are not allowed to; a ball-entry detector which detects the game balls coming into the internal area; a ball-ejection detector which detects the game balls coming out of the internal area; and a residual ball monitor which determines whether any ball is left in the internal area based on the detection results by the ball-entry detector and the ball-ejection detector. When the residual ball monitor determines that the ball is present, an invalid state is generated so that the switching control by the opening/closing controller is not allowed, while when the residual ball monitor determines that the ball is not present, a valid state is generated so that the switching control is allowed.
