Disclosed are game equipment and a game program comprising pieces and a game board upon which the pieces may shift direction in three directions so that two to six participants can play a game of taking pieces with other participants. In particular, in the case in which there are three or more participants, a plurality of participants can form an alliance to battle with other participants. The disclosed game board and pieces can be used in a game of taking pieces in which, according to predetermined rules, pieces are moved in sequence by two to six participants who compete over the pieces, wherein the participant with an important piece remaining in the end becomes the winner. For the game board, a triangular grid is arrayed comprising equilaterally-shaped cells of the same size on the game board. For the pieces, the pieces are of a plurality of types including important pieces corresponding to the number of participants, which are made to be identifiable for each participant and for which directions of travel are indicated. Furthermore, the game program causes configuration of a game board of a size and shape corresponding to the number of participants and the types of the pieces selected by the participants. |
