摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic rotating device that is efficient by reducing copper loss. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic rotating device 1 includes: a rotor 3 in which n pieces of (n is an integer of &ge;1) flat-plate-like permanent magnets 2, each having magnetic poles formed on a top surface and a rear surface, are arranged along the circumferential direction at regular intervals; and a plurality of electromagnets 5 that are fixed to the stator 4 in such a way that each of their respective magnetic poles is arranged facing each magnetic pole of the permanent magnets 2 having the same polarity as that of the magnetic pole of the each pole of the electromagnet 5, and exert to the permanent magnets 2 the magnetic force to rotate the rotor 3. Each permanent magnet 2 is arranged so as to occupy 40-70% with respect to each split angle &alpha; of split parts formed by circumferentially splitting the rotor 3 into n pieces. Electric conduction is executed to the electromagnets 5 in a period during which the permanent magnets 2 face the electromagnets 5. After the permanent magnets 2 pass the electromagnets 5, a current to the electromagnets 5 is cut off so as to impart torque due to magnetic force to the rotor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
