PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid working machine which controls output of a buck-boost converter so as to prevent the passage of an overcharge current or an over-discharge current, even when the plurality of buck-boost converters each simultaneously perform the charge or discharge of electricity into or from a capacitor. SOLUTION: The hybrid working machine includes: a motor generator 12 which is connected to an engine 11; a plurality of electric motors 21 and 30 for driving an electric load; a plurality of converters 100A and 100B to which the motor generator and the electric motor are connected; the one capacitor 19 to which the plurality of converters are connected; and a control section 120 which controls the electric current charged into/discharged from the capacitor. In hybrid construction machinery, the control section 120 limits the output of the motor generator 12 or the output of the converter 100A to which the motor generator 12 is connected, so that the electric current charged into or discharged from the capacitor is prevented from exceeding a preset allowable value.
