PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the storage stability, under low temperature conditions, of a detergent composition for hard surfaces which can impart an effect of promoting drying to a hard surface and also excels in detergency, compatibility, and mildew-resistant performance. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for hard surfaces includes (a) a polymer compound which contains a constituting unit (a1) of formula (1) and a constituting unit (a2) of formula (2) (wherein R is a 1-3C alkyl group) at a specific ratio and does not includes a constituting unit having a cationic group or an amino group, (b) a specific surface active agent, and (c) a mildewproofing agent, each at a specific range.
