PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a fluid jetting apparatus flexibly producible according to various situations regarding production. SOLUTION: A jet head 232 capable of jetting, toward a recording medium 150, a fluid containing material cured in response to irradiation of predetermined light, and irradiation devices 234, 236 capable of irradiating the predetermined light toward the recording medium, are driven to scan relative to the recording medium to produce recorded matter. The method for driving the fluid jetting apparatus includes a process for selecting a predetermined scanning operation out of a plurality of kinds of scanning operations regarding fluid jetting and irradiation of the predetermined light based on information on production of the recorded matter in scanning driving.
