PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for testing desulfurization in which design values necessary for designing an apparatus for desulfurizing an organism can accurately be determined. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for testing the desulfurization includes: a first and a second gas cylinders 3 and 4 for supplying a simulated biogas containing hydrogen sulfide; and an apparatus 2 for desulfurizing the organism designed to desulfurize the hydrogen sulfide contained in the simulated biogas supplied with the first and second gas cylinders 3 and 4 with a microorganism 42. In the apparatus 1 for testing the desulfurization, the apparatus 2 for desulfurizing the organism is provided with a reaction tube 40 for desulfurizing the organism in which the simulated biogas flows, and the microorganism 42 is immobilized on the tube inner peripheral surface of the reaction tube 40 for desulfurizing the organism.
