<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply condensate water to a water quality measuring instrument at a proper flow rate and temperature, without changing a heat exchanger, and the like, even when the pressure of sampled steam is changed by a large amount when taking in the steam of the flow rate corresponding to the pressure of steam is taken in as condensate water. <P>SOLUTION: A steam-quality monitoring device 1, in which the steam is cooled to prepare the condensate water, and the quality of steam is monitored, by measuring water quality of the condensate water cooled to a prescribed temperature by the water quality measuring instrument 4, and which includes an air-cooled heat exchanger 3 for forcibly cooling at least one of the steam and the condensate water by the air in the atmosphere, and further includes a pressure reducing means 5 for reducing the pressure of steam to a prescribed pressure range, when the steam S is allowed to flow by the flow rate necessary for measuring the water quality. The devices, including the heat exchanger 3 and piping at a downstream side of the pressure reducing means 5 are configured to supply the condensate water of the temperature and flow rate necessary for measuring the water quality, to the water quality measuring instrument 4, when the steam in the prescribed pressure range, is supplied to a boiler side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
