PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable moisture information output device for outputting information indicating a moisture state of a plant body nondestructively in a cultivation field. SOLUTION: In the portable moisture information output device 100, an actuator 32 moves a pressure-connection member to a measurement part of a plant body and presses the measurement part of the plant body in contact therewith. A stress acquisition unit detects compressive force of the measurement part of the plant body when the measurement part of the plant body is compressed by the pressure-connection member to acquire stress corresponding to the compressive force. A control unit 38 controls the actuator 32 and derives information indicating a moisture state of the plant body, based on a ratio of stress acquired by the stress acquisition unit to a rate of compression distance of the measurement part to a thickness of the measurement part.
