<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating coating material which can form an insulating coating film that has a partial discharge initiating voltage equal to what a conventional one does and a mechanical strength so that it is rolled to process or molded into a coil with no crack brought about. <P>SOLUTION: The insulating coating material comprises a polyamide-imide resin having a repeating unit which is represented by formula (1) obtained by reacting a resin component (X) with a diisocyanate component (Y) consisting of 2,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (Y<SB>1</SB>) and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (Y<SB>2</SB>), wherein the resin component (X) is obtained by reacting a diamine component consisting of aromatic diamines having each a bivalent aromatic group (R) having three or more aromatic rings with an acid component in the presence of an azeotropic solvent; wherein, R is a bivalent aromatic group having three or more aromatic rings as described above; and m and n are each an integer of 1-99. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
