<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact rotary cylinder device with little friction loss, which saves energy, by reducing an influence of reaction acting from a cylinder on a piston assembled to a piston composite body eccentrically connected to a first crankshaft rotating around a shaft and linearly reciprocating. <P>SOLUTION: The first crankshaft 5 rotates around the shaft 4, and the piston composite body P rotates around the first crankshaft 5. Thereby, a pair of first and second pistons 7, 8 assembled to an eccentric cylindrical body 6 linearly reciprocate in the radial direction of a rolling circle with the shaft 4 as a center.
