PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial-antifungal agent highly safe that becomes a film by itself at the ordinary temperature and without being easily eluted. SOLUTION: The antibacterial-antifungal agent comprises a polymer material and at least one kind of compound (c) selected from the group consisting of silver compounds, wherein the polymer material includes a reaction product obtained by reacting (a) an amino group-containing silane compound represented by the formula: R<SB>4-n</SB>Si(OR')<SB>n</SB>, (in the formula, R represents an amino group-containing organic group; R' represents methyl, ethyl or propyl; n is an integer selected from 1-3) with (b) at least one kind of boron compound selected from the group consisting of H<SB>3</SB>BO<SB>3</SB>and B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>in a ratio of≥0.02 mole of component (b) to 1 mole of component (a).
