PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction device and system, capable of speedily obtaining an acoustic transfer function without being affected by external noise. SOLUTION: A controlling sound generator 340 outputs white noise generated by a white-noise generator 337, and the white noise is sensed by an error sensor 350 thereby the acoustic transfer function covering a path from the controlling sound generator 340 to the error sensor 350 is identified. At this point, when an ambient noise level sensed by the error sensor 350 is a predetermined threshold or less, an identification controller 338 prompts the white-noise generator 337 to generate the white noise, thereby identifying the acoustic transfer function.
