PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce as much as possible areas which are necessary for the electrical connections between a plurality of base boards, which are used in a multifunctional type camera module, to make the camera module compact in size. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle camera module includes: a holder comprising a base board supporting part which is shaped like a square box and has downward apertures, and a cylindrical lens unit-fixing part which is formed, as one united body, integrally with the base board supporting part in the center of the top of the supporting part itself. The holder supports an imaging element holding base board, on which an imaging element is actually mounted in the surface, and a circuit constituent holding base board on which circuit constituents are actually mounted. Then, the imaging element holding base board and the circuit constituent holding base board are each composed of both rigid parts of a rigid flex base board respectively, which consists of the two rigid parts and a flexible part connecting one rigid part with the other rigid part, and the flexible parts of the rigid flex base board are bent in a shape of the U character to make both the rigid parts arranged in parallel to each other, and then both the rigid parts are fixed in the holder to constitute the on-vehicle camera module.
