The invention relates to an apparatus for muscle stimulation, with at least one motor and with two motor-driven gears, wherein each of these gears comprises a frame and a tread plate mounted in the frame. Each of these gears is a rotatable four-bar linkage. The driven gear member is in each case a crank mounted in the frame. Moreover, a crank and a tread plate are in each case connected in an articulated manner by means of a coupling member. With the present invention, an apparatus for muscle stimulation is developed that can be operated both with low and also with high stroke frequencies. |
