PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive gyro wave-activated power generator easily controlled and having high power generation capacity without reducing power generation efficiency with respect to the irregular swinging of a floating body. SOLUTION: A gyro moment is generated by the swinging, and a gyro 15 with a gimbal shaft 19 rotated in two directions to the right and left by the gyro moment is supported by the floating body 1. The gimbal shaft 19 is provided with a first drive gear 31 and a second drive gear 32 through one-way clutches 33, 34. The one-way clutch 33 connecting the first drive gear 31 with the gimbal shaft 19 and the one-way clutch 34 connecting the second drive gear 32 with the gimbal shaft 19 are oppositely incorporated so that the engagement directions thereof are different. The rotation of the gimbal shaft 19 in the two directions to the right and left is taken out for an output shaft 36 as rotation in one direction from the first drive gear and second drive gear. The rotation of the output shaft 36 is speeded up by a step-up gear 39 and input from the step-up gear 39 into a generator 38 to drive the generator 38. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
