MOTOR, PUMP HAVING THE MOTOR AS DRIVE SOURCE, AND WATER HEATER, DISHWASHER AND WASHING MACHINE EACH EQUIPPED WITH THE PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which is manufactured more simply, and can improve drive efficiency by reducing an eddy current loss, a pump having the motor as a drive source, and a water heater, a dishwasher and a washing machine each equipped with the pump. SOLUTION: The motor includes a rotatable rotor 4 having magnets 42 disposed in a circumferential direction, and a stator 5 having a stator core 51 formed by laminating a plurality of plate-like bodies 48, a coil 52 wound around the stator core 51, and magnetic poles 53 disposed oppositely to the magnets 42. The magnetic poles 53 of the stator 5 include a magnetic pole base 54 and an extending portion 55 extending in substantially parallel to the magnets 42 from the magnetic pole base 54.
