PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step relaxing device capable of reducing noise caused by passage of a vehicle due to a step between a manhole lid and a road surface by a simple structure. SOLUTION: Around the manhole lid 3 arranged in the road surface 2 where a vehicle can travel, a step relaxing member 4 having an upper face 4a flush with the road surface 2 is arranged.
