<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stir conveyance member that efficiently stirs and conveys a replenishing toner in a developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The stir conveyance member rotates around a rotary shaft 55Yb and stirs and conveys a developer composed of toner and a carrier to a downstream side P in the direction of the rotary shaft. Within one pitch of the rotary shaft, the stir conveyance member is provided with first partitioning member 101 for conveying the developer to the downstream in the direction of the rotary shaft, and a second partitioning member 102 for conveying the developer to the upstream in the direction of the rotary shaft. Tips of the first and second partitioning members are disposed in close to or contact with each other. An empty space 103 is formed between the tips 101a, 102b and the rotary shaft.
