PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase in which kinds of storage boxes to be placed on an existing showcase can be reduced to make the boxes commonly usable and storage boxes can be freely placed on a merchandise placing shelf and a deck. SOLUTION: The showcase includes: a case body 1 of a heat insulation case body with an opening formed on the front face; a plurality of stages of merchandise placing shelves 6a-6g provided along the vertical direction in a merchandise storage chamber inside the case body to place merchandise to be stored; circulation means to circulate air; an evaporator to cool the air circulated by the air circulation means; and a storage box 100 (200) formed in a box shape in the front of which a merchandise take-out port is opened or closed by a front door and in the rear of which a rear opening serving as an opening on a rear side and placed on the merchandise placing shelves, and keeps the merchandise placed on the merchandise placing shelves under a desired temperature condition. The showcase is provided with an auxiliary storage portion 110 (210) movable depending on the depth of the merchandise placing shelves on the rear end part of the storage box.
