PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for a grout material allowing easy treatment of slime produced in executing a soil improving method, and to provide a slime treating method. SOLUTION: An alkaline thickening emulsion is mixed into the grout material to make slime discharged to the ground side moderately hydrophobic, thereby improving its water release property to attain dehydration.
