Provided is an apparatus for manufacturing an absorbing body which is molded by depositing a liquid absorptive fiber and a highly absorptive polymer in a deposition section. The apparatus comprises: a plurality of air intake holes which are provided in the deposition section and deposit the liquid absorptive fiber and the highly absorptive polymer, which flow through a spray duct, in the deposition section by means of air intake; an air intake duct which is provided in communication with the air intake holes and sucks air in such a way that the air intake holes perform air intake; and a separator which separates the highly absorptive polymer that is equal to or larger than a predetermined size from the air flowing through the air intake duct and returns the highly absorptive polymer to the spray duct.
