<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus capable of efficiently performing size change processing and position adjustment processing on an image by using two image processing devices without using an expensive image processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a primary image processing device 3 that performs size change processing of an input image; and a secondary image processing device 5 that performs position adjustment processing of image information output from the primary image processing device 3. The secondary image processing device 5 outputs the position information of the image to the primary image processing device 3 after the position adjustment processing on the input image is completed.
