<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize, by a receiver apparatus, timing to control directivity of an antenna, and thereafter to form the optimum antenna beam at the timing. <P>SOLUTION: This communication apparatus is equipped with: a first wireless communication part performing wireless communication in accordance with a first communication method; and a second wireless communication part performing wireless communication in accordance with a second communication method using a higher frequency band than that of the first communication method. The second wireless communication part decides, based on a time point at which a predetermined control signal has been received by the first wireless communication part, reception timing to receive a beacon transmitted in accordance with the second communication method, and forms, at the decided reception timing, a reception beam having the directivity learned in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
