<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for an electronic device that has high strength and beautiful outward appearance, and contributes to development of weight reduction, and to provide a method of fabricating the same. <P>SOLUTION: The housing for the electronic device includes a metal member 12 and a plastic member 14 integrally coupled with the metal member 12. The metal member 12 has a plurality of openings 1221 bored at least in a partial area. After the metal member 12 is integrally coupled with one surface of the plastic member 14 in an insert formation manner, the openings 1221 are filled with the plastic member 14, and the plastic member 12 and the metal member 14 cooperatively define a flat outward surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
