PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wire line excavating equipment in which a section for transmitting a rotational driving force to an inner section to an outer section is surely fitted by a single trial when the inner section is dropped. SOLUTION: In this wire line excavating equipment 1, the outer section 4 includes: an inner peripheral surface equipped with a rotation transmission portion 4D which transmits the rotation of an outer tube to the inner section 5; the inner section 5 includes a rotationally driven portion 5D to which the rotation of the outer tube is transmitted by the rotation transmission portion 4D of the outer tube 4B; the rotation transmission portion 4D comprises a large-diameter fitting upper portion 4D1 and a small-diameter fitting lower portion 4D2; an outer peripheral surface of the rotationally driven portion 5D includes a fitting upper portion 5D1 and a fitting lower portion 5D2 for being fit to the fitting upper portion 4D1 and fitting lower portion 4D2 of the rotation transmission portion 4D, respectively; and fitting surface abutting on each other are formed while alternately disposing three spiral fitting surfaces (4D31 and 5D31) and three vertical fitting surfaces (4D32 and 5D32).
