PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharging device which can efficiently discharge a gel-like foreign substance. SOLUTION: This liquid droplet discharging device comprises the following components: a liquid droplet discharge head which discharges a functional fluid as a liquid droplet; a suction part which sucks the functional fluid accommodated in the liquid droplet discharge head; a filter which is installed in a flow path through which the functional fluid is supplied to the liquid droplet discharge head; a warming part which warms the filter; and a control part which can selectively switch to a first cleaning mode which allows the functional fluid to be sucked from the liquid droplet discharge head, or a second cleaning mode which allows the functional fluid to be sucked from the liquid droplet discharge head while warming the filter.
