PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop and to provide a method for using a simple antiseptic solution which is improved and alleviated so as to be used not only by ordinary people but also by people sensitive to allergic reactions, has no damage with respect to toxic and hazardous properties, and is useful for improving environmental hygiene. SOLUTION: The method for using the simple antiseptic solution comprises: a step for stirring and mixing chlorine dioxide (CLO<SB>2</SB>) and 10% citric acid (C<SB>6</SB>H<SB>8</SB>O<SB>7</SB>) diluted by raw water or tap water at a ratio of 1 to 5; and a step for using the diluted solution after preparation time of 3 minutes elapses.
