PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of traveling stability caused by traveling shock phenomenon at startup. SOLUTION: A reaping part 4 is driven at a rotational speed variable synchronously with traveling speed of a combine harvester by a dedicated hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 21 for reaping and transportation. Operating position of a shift lever 70 is detected by an operation position detecting means 71, a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 20 for traveling is accelerated or decelerated according to the detection signal of the operation position detecting means 71, the traveling speed is detected by a vehicle speed sensor 77, and the reaping part 4 and the front feeding transportation apparatus 13 are driven at a speed variable synchronously with the traveling speed by increasing or decreasing the speed of the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 21 for reaping and transportation according to the detection signal of the vehicle speed sensor 77. The deceleration rate of initial traveling speed to start the deceleration operation of the shift lever 70 is set to be larger than the acceleration rate of initial traveling speed to start the acceleration operation of the shift lever 70 from a state to stop traveling motion.
