<p>Disclosed is a fluid descent device that, when transferring a fluid including wine from a wine bottle, a decanter, etc., to a glass, cup, or other container for individual persons to drink from, brings the fluid into sufficient contact with atmosphere, making the flavor mild, bolstering the bouquet, and applying a visually appealing presentation effect to the movement of the fluid on the occasion of said transfer. The basic configuration (1) of the disclosed fluid descent device is configured to comprise a fluid receptacle (2) that is opened in the upper part thereof; a funnel-shaped fluid collecting unit (3) positioned upon the lower part of the fluid receptacle, the diameter whereof decreasing from the upper part to the lower part; and a fluid discharge part (4) configured by a plurality of narrow through holes (5) that are disposed upon a cylindrical part. The fluid including wine that is poured from the bottle, decanter, etc., is first received in the fluid receptacle (2). The fluid collecting unit (3), which is positioned upon the lower part of the fluid receptacle (2), has a funnel shape, the diameter whereof decreasing from the upper part to the lower part. The fluid thus received discharges externally in a shower-like state from the fluid discharge part (4) formed from the plurality of narrow through holes (5) in the cylindrical part. The discharged fluid is received in a fluid receptacle of a next stage of the basic configuration, and is guided to a further next stage of the basic configuration.</p> |
