A method and system for data transmission are provided, a source user device sends the data for a destination user device to a base station through the pre-setup service flow corresponding with the destination user device; the base station parses the received data, acquires the air interface connection address of the service flow between the base station and the destination user device, forwards the data to the destination user device. According to the technical scheme provided by the present invention, it solves the problem in prior art that the local forwarding can not be realized because the address information of the destination user device can not be acquired, accordingly reducing the data transmission path, shortening the delay for the data process and debasing the consumption of the network resource.
