<p>Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device which has a narrower frame and which prevents sealing material from entering the display area. The disclosed liquid crystal display device is provided with a first substrate and a second substrate arranged facing one another, a liquid crystal layer provided between the first and the second substrates, and a sealing member which bonds together the first and second substrates and seals the liquid crystal layer, wherein either the first substrate or the second substrate have a recess in the corner of the substrate between the sealing material and the display region.</p> |
