<p>The invention relates to the field of fuel-free power engineering, and can be used as an electric power station, a vehicle power plant, or a source of industrial cold. The problem addressed by the invention is that of enabling the fuel-free generation of work and cold from ambient heat, thereby protecting the environment and natural resources. The method for the fuel-free generation of work and cold from ambient heat uses heat engines with a cooling system, wherein one of the sources of heat is transformed waste heat from the system itself. The cooling system runs on cryogens and is connected via an input to the work and heat output of the heat engines, and the ultimate heat sink is the working medium of the heat engines. The device for implementing the method comprises: a main circuit for circulating a working medium, which includes, among other things, a turboexpander (1) with a power generator (2), a condenser/evaporator (3), a steam separator (4), duct fans (5), a heat exchanger/condenser of an inner cryorefrigerator (6), heat exchangers (14) of outer refrigerators (15, 23, 27), an interface heat exchanger (17) heated with cold water, and a low temperature heat exchanger (18) heated with hot water; a cooling circuit for circulating a cryogenic fluid, which includes a tank/cryostat (7) containing a cryogenic fluid, cryopumps (8), a heat exchanger/evaporator (19) of the inner cryorefrigerator (6), the condenser/evaporator (3), and the steam separator (4); and a circuit for the coolant of the cryorefrigerator (6), which includes a compressor (20) and an expander (21) as well as the heat exchanger/condenser (19) and a heat exchanger/evaporator (22).</p> |
