<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording material wherein additional writing property is superior, an erasure mark can hardly be identified, and stable recording images can be formed over many times. <P>SOLUTION: On one surface of a support of the reversible thermal recording material, there are provided a reversible thermal recording layer wherein transparency or color tone is reversibly changed by controlling thermal energy, and a protective layer.
